After close to 20 years as business lead for creative agencies in London, Ed made the leap to ‘the dark side’ in 2022 and is now the custodian of the iconic Hiscox insurance brand in the UK. Working closely with Uncommon Creative Studio and Total Media, Ed has led a highly acclaimed integrated advertising campaign for Hiscox which challenges traditional insurance advertising norms with humour and innovative use of media. He’s previously worked with organisations from a wide range of sectors including General Motors, HM Government, BT, Organix, Guide Dogs & Ubisoft.

With podcast advertising and audio a significant part of Hiscox’s 2024 media plan, Ed is looking forward to bringing both his client and agency-side experience to bear and sharing his views on how the Podcast advertising industry can get itself onto the agenda of marketers and budget-holders.
